After Jaipur Police, Pakistan Police Takes A Dig At Jasprit Bumrah's 'Infamous' No-Ball 1

It seems there is no escape for Jasprit Bumrah from the no ball that he bowled in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy. The right-handed bowler’s no-ball to Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman played a huge part in India’s humiliating 180-run defeat as after getting a reprieve on just three, Zaman had gone on to score his maiden One-Day International century.

The opening batsman’s stunning century had powered the Men in Green to a daunting 338 for four before the Pakistani bowlers bowled India out for a paltry 158 to help their team win the Champions Trophy for the first time. Since the defeat in final, Bumrah has become a target of social media trolls and the subject of many memes.

Recently, Jaipur Traffic Police had used a photo of his no-ball in an advertisement to raise public awareness about road safety. And now Pakistan traffic police are using the same image to warn people to stay follow the traffic rules in order to remain safe.

Earlier this week, Bumrah had slammed the Jaipur Traffic Police for making a mockery of his unfortunate no-ball.

Later, the Jaipur Police apologised for their tweet

“Dear Jasprit Bumrah, our intent was not to hurt your sentiments or the sentiments of millions of cricket fans. We only intended to create more awareness about traffic rules. You are a youth icon & an inspiration for all of us,” the cops tweeted.

Before Jaipur Police, Bengaluru Traffic Police had also used the same photograph with the caption,

“Crossing some lines can be devastating !!#RespectTheStopLine @?.”

However, with Bumrah perhaps missing it, the tweet did not garner too much attention.
