Kraigg Brathwaite, the Windies part-time off-spinner, has been reported for a suspect action after the end of the first Test match between the hosts England and Windies.
He bowled just six overs in the game and came under the scanner of match officials meanwhile. He has to undergo a test within 14 days now. The off-spinner is although allowed to bowl in international cricket in the meantime.

Brathwaite’s action was reported by the on-field umpires, S Ravi, Marais Erasmus, third umpire Chris Gaffaney and matches referee David Boon.
Though it’s not a big loss for Windies team, as he is just a part-time option, but looking at the condition of their prime bowlers in the first Test, they would certainly need contribution from every player in each department in the upcoming matches.

Windies lost the first Test of the series to the hosts by a margin of an innings and 209 runs. They were bowled out twice within a matter of three sessions. The Jason Holder-led side was handed a massive defeat, on the third day of the game.
Windies came out to bat on day 3 with a score of 44 for one, and before the end of the day’s play, they were bowled out twice, courtesy a superlative bowling performance from England.

During the course, Stuart Broad overtook Sir Ian Botham to become the second-highest wicket-taker for England in Test cricket. With this win, England also marked a victory in their first-ever pink ball Test.
The second Test of the series will kick off on August 25 at Headingley in Leeds. Before the start of the third and the final Test, the visiting side will play a two-day practice match against Leicestershire. One T20I and five ODIs to be played after the conclusion of Test series.
