The latter one is the franchise player of the company and is quite expected that once he decides to leave the WWE for good, acting would be his prime profession.
Now, speaking of John Cena and The Rock leads us to the fact that both of them have been the faces of the WWE. This also led them to a feud that marked the feud between two generations. These two had main-event two consecutive Wrestlemanias which is still considered as one of the biggest rivalries of all time in the company.
Apparently, a scenario has occurred where we can expect them to collide on the silver screen in the future. According to the reports of TheHashTagshow.com, John Cena is being considered as the titular character in the upcoming film, Shazam.
While The Cenation Leader has been considered as the babyface character, The Rock is producing the movie as well as play the role of Shazam’s arch-rival Black Adam. So, if the casting gets finalized, then we can very well be seeing rivalry getting renewed, on-screen.
The source has an explanation as of why Cena can be perfect in the role of the title character,

The hype around this movie is understandable as The Rock is attached to this project. If the 16-time world champion also gets connected, then it would become the biggest movie featuring two WWE superstars.
