WWE Rumour: New Rivalry to Kick-Start for The Miz on WWE Raw 1

Last night at the No Mercy PV, The Miz had his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Jason Jordan. From the get going the crowd was booing Kurt Angle’s son who is a babyface. Rather, they were cheering for a heel, Miz which was quite odd. It also indicated the crowd was not favouring the young superstar, at all.

To the pleasure of the fans in attendance, The Miz was able to retain his championship in a predicted style where the numbers game caught up with Jordan, and he took advantage of that. Dallas created the distraction, and Axel gave a cheap shot on Jordan. That allowed Miz to hit the Skull Crushing Finale and pick up the win.

Following the match, Jordan was not at all happy with the consequences and demanded a rematch with the reigning champion. Kurt Angle was present on the scene, but did not give any hint on the topic. But, he did drop an indication as of what is stored for The Miz starting from now on.

After what transpired at No Mercy, The Hollywood A-lister would now interview the Big Dog on tomorrow night’s WWE Raw. Roman Reigns has earned the biggest victory of his career against John Cena to become the face that runs the place on the flagship show, officially. So, he was announced to kick-off Raw, tomorrow.

The rivalry between Roman Reigns and The Miz is being speculated for a long time, now. It might get started with Miz TV scheduled to begin the next edition of the flagship show. The hint of the same was given on WWE.com with the following quoted which said:

“In the aftermath, though, The Miz proposed a special “Miz TV” to Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, an exclusive interview that he would conduct with Reigns to ask hard-hitting questions concerning the black-clad Superstar’s epic match against Cena, recent buzz surrounding Reigns and his “old buddies” and more.”
