WWE News: Triple H Landed in Mumbai to Promote Upcoming WWE Tour 1

As per the earlier reports, WWE scheduled two live events from the Raw brand at the end of this year. On the second week of December, the Raw roster will be visiting the city of Delhi to perform here. The company hosted two such house shows, last year and they will be back within a year. No official announcement was made from WWE, till date.

In order to do the same, the 14-time world champion, Triple H arrived in the city of Mumbai, last night.

Transitioning from his role of a bonafide WWE Superstar, he has turned into the WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative. So, he will officially launch WWE’s tour in India in December.

The Cerebral Assassin was quite excited to visit the country. He received warm greetings after landing at the Mumbai Airport. So, he took his Twitter handle to quote the following:

‘Landed in Mumbai and was warmly greeted. A beautiful country with wonderful cultures, excited for my visit. @WWEIndia’

Later, the official website of the WWE confirmed that Triple H would spend some time to promote WWE activities and the expanding the business ventures in this country. He is also scheduled to have meet-and-greet sessions with the some of the Indian fans, later today. Check out the updates provided by WWE.com,

Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative, was welcomed to Mumbai, India, Monday night as his greeters applied a tilaka – a mark traditionally worn by Indian Hindus – to his forehead, draped him in an Indian scarf and performed aarti, a Hindu ritual of worship in which light from wicks soaked in ghee or camphor is offered to one or more deities.”

The live events in India will witness regular WWE Raw superstars like Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, The Miz, Sasha Banks, Bayley and more performing at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi.

The reigning WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal from the Smackdown brand is also expected to join the show.
