As reported earlier, one of the most popular factions in the history of sports entertainment is about to reunite in the upcoming PPV, TLC. The Shield is said to be reuniting to face The Miz-tourage at the main event of the forthcoming Raw-exclusive event in October. The faction is quite infamous to thrive in chaos. So, bringing them back in a no disqualification scenario would be perfect.
The last time we saw them competing in a match was at Payback 2014 where they collided against The Evolution in a remarkable match which was also a No Disqualification affair. The two greatest stables in the WWE history has over-delivered in a match which will be remembered for ages.
To sell more tickets of the TLC PPV, The Shield reunion is being planned. Also, WWE needs to prepare something bigger in the absence of marquee players like John Cena and Brock Lesnar. The original title in the Raw brand will be absent for at least a couple of months which means they need something to keep the fans interest intact on the Raw-products.

Now, the obvious main event match for WWE TLC turns out to be the Shield taking on against the three members of the Miz-tourage. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel have taken their status to a certain level under the wings of The Miz and delivered a beatdown to Reigns in a Shield-like affair.
But, the question is whether The Miz-tourage is a worthy opponent for perhaps the Hounds of Justice. This is why Pro-Wrestling Sheet reported that the trio might not be going to be the opponents for the most popular faction in WWE history, perhaps. Instead, they will be acting as the inducer who will bring Reigns, Ambrose, and Rollins back together. Ryan Satin hinted the same on Twitter responding to a previous report.
Sources tell us The Miztourage being their opponents is NOT set in stone at this point. Sounds like they may just be who brings them back. https://t.co/nxqfb9nuT0

The source hinted that actual opponents for The Shield might be a different one at the TLC PPV that can make their return match, a monumental affair. There may be a chance that a big name like Braun Strowman might also be involved in the upcoming match. We have to wait some more to learn updates regarding this matter.
