WWE: What Transpired Once Raw Went off the Air: October 9, 2017 1

It was one of the best episodes of WWE Raw in 2017 from a fan’s perspective.

The unthinkable just came into reality, as The Shield was back into the house after three long years. There’s a lot of history involved for the faction in the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, and they were together to settle their business.

The main show of WWE Raw went off the air on a happy note too, as a new Cruiserweight champion got crowned on the show. It was Kalisto who got a shot at the title after Enzo was bragging about it after holding it for the past couple of weeks. The Masked Luchador became the new champion dethroning Enzo to close the show.

Once the taping was over, WWE.com  presented us with some exclusive backstage footages. The fallout video showed Kalisto celebrating at backstage after winning the title that might bring him back to a position where he can gain a name for himself as an established performer. He was also seen not wearing his mask.

On the other hand, Enzo Amore was running his mouth even after losing the match. He gave an interview on the fallout show which stated that he is blaming everyone, but himself for this loss.

The crowd in attendance had yet another championship match in store following the main show. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose featured in a dark main event title match against Sheamus and Cesaro. Ambrose hit the Dirty Deeds to retain their tag titles.

Emma became the first opponent to face Asuka at TLC and hence bragged about the fact after WWE Raw. She already had a confrontation with Asuka on Twitter as you can see below.

Mickie James was also seen talking about the WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss on the fallout show. Plus, the GM, Kurt Angle was seen extremely proud about how his son defeated Karl Anderson on WWE Raw in a singles competition.
