WWE: What to Expect from This Week’s Smackdown Live: October 10, 2017 1

We had witnessed yet another exciting edition of the Hell in a Cell PPV on this past Sunday night.

It was the first Smackdown-exclusive PPV after Summerslam which saw a hellacious main event between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens. The ending was more than shocking which witnessed a heel-turn from Sami Zayn.

So, the focus heading into this week’s Smackdown Live will be to address the major fallouts from the Hell in a Cell event. There should be an initial buildup for the Survivor Series PPV in November, as well. Tonight’s show will take place at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Now, with his questionable actions at Hell in a Cell, Sami Zayn has turned all the attention towards him. It was indeed needed for him to go forward in his career. He will now be able to enter the main event scenario, gradually. Tonight, we expect to hear an explanation from him where he should solidify the heel-turn with the mic in hand.

On the other hand, Kevin Owens would find an ally by his side in the form of his former best friend. There is a slight chance for him to shift from the Smackdown brand. He is reportedly getting advertised on the 16th October episode of the show which is an indication; he might express his desire to change the brand, altogether.

WWE should provide us with some updates on Shane McMahon. Previously, they gave us updates stating that the commissioner has suffered some injured ribs. We wish to hear some improvements in his conditions on the show. Meanwhile, there will be a huge main event match to headline this week’s Smackdown. AJ Styles did not waste a long time to demand his title rematch against Baron Corbin. Now that the latter one has snatched the title away from him at Hell in a Cell, The Phenomenal One will be getting the title match on tonight’s show.

In the WWE Championship picture, Jinder Mahal should be over with his feud against Shinsuke Nakamura. He might get a new opponent, going forward against him. The rivalry between Natalya and Charlotte Flair will continue after the way the match had come to an end. Becky Lynch will have singles match against Carmella, too.

The champion delivered an assault to the injured leg of The Queen. So, the latter one will seek retribution. The tag team titles changed hands, yet again. This feud has already stretched that has been ongoing ever since post-Wrestlemania. It should not be continued since it can create a backlash among the fans.
