WWE News: Updates on Shane McMahon’s Condition following Hell In A Cell 1

The main event of the Hell in a Cell stole the show, as expected. The two competitors fighting in this match tore each other apart during the match.

At one point, the fight was taken to the top of the cell structure which was worth a watch. Both the fighters took a bump off the top of the cell through the announce table after that.

Kevin Owens was pushed off the top by Shane McMahon, as he tried to escape the structure. Later, the commissioner went for a splash on Owens to pick up the win. It was an expected stunt from the daredevil persona of the younger McMahon which was the highlight of the night, yet again. But, the move turned out to be costly for him.

Sami Zayn showed up out of nowhere at the ringside area. It was thought that he would cost Owens for taking him out, a couple of weeks early. However, to the shock of the WWE Universe, he removed the unconscious body of Owens off the announce table.

It led Shane McMahon crashing through the remaining commentary table at the ringside area. At this age of 47, this was considered to be a pretty bad landing for the man who does not dare to pull off these incredible moves, all the time. But, we should also remember that he has his own family and three sons who were watching from ringside. So, it was hard for us to watch him taken out of the arena on a stretcher once the match got concluded.

WWE.com provided the latest update on Shane-O-mac following the PPV which states:

“SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon has been taken to a local medical facility after leaping from the top of Hell in a Cell and crashing through an announce table during his brutal Falls Count Anywhere Hell in a Cell Match against Kevin Owens.
A preliminary report has determined that Shane may be dealing with multiple injuries, including neck trauma, fractured ribs, and a dislocated shoulder. While nothing has been confirmed at this time, WWE.com will continue to monitor Shane’s condition. Check back with WWE.com for updates as they become available.”

As we go forward, we can expect to learn more about the condition of the Smackdown commissioner. Tuesday Night, on the latest edition of Smackdown, we expect to see major fallouts from the Hell in a Cell PPV. Hopefully, by then, everybody’s beloved Shane will be able to stand back to his own feet, by then.
