WWE: Smackdown Live Full Results: October 24th, 2017 1

Shane McMahon’s return to Smackdown Live was the highlight of last night’s show, as he addressed the recent heelish actions of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Plus, Jinder Mahal stood in the corner of Sunil Singh in a match against AJ Styles. Check out the results from the show took place at the BMO Bradley Harris Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

WWE Smackdown opened with Shane McMahon returning to his show in a significant reaction from the crowd. He addressed the Raw invasion incident from last night. Sami Zayn walked out to interrupt him and had a heated confrontation. It set up a match between Sami and Randy Orton with the winner getting named as the captain of Smackdown team for Survivor Series.

To determine the captain for the women’s team at the Survivor Series PPV, we had a backstage segment with all the ladies of the blue brand except for the champion. During their argument, Daniel Bryan walked by and announced a fatal-5-way match featuring all of them with the winner getting a chance to be named the captain.

Meanwhile, James Ellsworth was missing from the show, as Carmella was searching for him. The chinless wonder was eventually shown in the Fashion Files segment tied in a room. The Bludgeon Brothers are said to be the reason behind this. Carmella delivered a trash talking to Ellsworth for not doing his job properly.

In the fatal-5-way match, Lana tried to give the upper hand to Tamina by standing outside the ring. She, herself was banned from the match. Carmella came closer to be the winner by attempting pinning Becky Lynch for a couple of times. However, she kicked out and eventually locked in the dis-arm-her to make her tap out.

A rematch from last week’s Smackdown took place between Sin Cara and Baron Corbin. The latter one was furious over last week’s upset from the masked luchador. So, he went to assault Cara for the better part of the match. The referee tried to convince him, but he got himself disqualified. The segment ended with an End of Days to Cara on the floor.

Jinder Mahal was out to cut a promo on Brock Lesnar who made the Champion vs Champion match official at the Survivor Series PPV. After that, Sunil Singh took on AJ Styles as per the schedule. Samir Singh tried to distract Styles, but the Phenomenal One picked up the easy win by locking in the Calf Crusher.

Dolph Ziggler had a backstage segment with Bobby Roode, once again. It set up a rubber match between the two on next week’s Smackdown. It will be a two out three falls match. Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable defeated The New Day in a tag team match.

In the main event match, Randy Orton took on Sami Zayn to determine the captain’s spot. In the middle of the contest, Kevin Owens walked out to distract the referee. However, the plan backfired, as Orton was able to hit a low blow on Zayn and then follow it up with the RKO for the win. He celebrated to end this week’s Smackdown.
