In one of the rarest occasions in the history of the WWE, multiple Raw superstars were affected by a specific virus during the TLC PPV. Due to that, the match card got changed to an extent. Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt were the victims of the virus, and not able to perform at the PPV.
It forced Kurt Angle to return to in-ring action, abruptly and AJ Styles to work in a Raw-exclusive PPV. Apparently, it got detected that the virus sort of meningitis or mumps broke out in the locker room. WWE officials checked everyone in the locker room to get sure who was directly affected by this virus attack.
Now, someone from the roster is indeed happy for not being present in the locker room in this critical time. It is none other than the first couple of the WWE, Nikki Bella, and John Cena. The former longest reigning Divas Champion in the WWE is presently starring in the popular reality TV series, Dancing with the Stars.
Owing to that and her career-threatening neck injury, the Bella Queen is away from the WWE for quite sometimes. In a recent interview with Fox News, she declared that at present, she is considering herself and her boyfriend, John Cena lucky for not being present on the roster during this virus attack. Check out her quotes,
“So I heard about this, and I guess I’m happy that I’m not there right now…I actually haven’t talked to my (WWE) friends, but I guess something crazy’s going around. Thank God he’s been on the movie set and not in the ring, so we both are clear of it.”
The longest reigning champion added that she is really enjoying her stint on the DWTS show. The dancing moves make her feel much younger and give her energy while being away from WWE.
Quite interestingly, Nikki Bella gave a hint to her upcoming marriage schedule which has got changed. Going by her quotes, the packed schedules for both of them forced them to reallocate the wedding ceremony which was previously slated to take place in 2018,
“We changed the date and location (owing to) just schedules and stuff.”
