It has now been confirmed that British Transfer record Angel Di Maria is on his way out of Premier League after just 10 months of game time. According to Leparisien, PSG have agreed a move in principle to sign Di Maria during the ongoing transfer window.
The report suggests that, Player has agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 side and the only thing pending is a concrete bid by the French Champions.
It was not long when, Di Maria was signed for a whopping sum of £59.7million from Real Madrid, despite PSG being his first choice. It was then believed that due to PSG’s financial play restrictions, Di Maria could not join his first choice side.
Meanwhile, Di Maria’s career saw a massive high in the beginning and then a colossal decline, something which he could not shake off till the season ended. Part of the reason was how Van Gaal used him in games and part of it seemed as his lack of intent.
Somewhere, it almost felt like he was waiting for PSG to make a move for him next season and his best wishes have been answered as UEFA have lifted all the restrictions on PSG and they are free to sign anyone for any transfer.
It has put Di Maria’s switch to Paris back in picture and it seems as if the only option left at Louis Van Gaal and United is to extract as much as possible from their £59.7 million investment last summer.
