The opening segment of Smackdown Live witnessed Shane McMahon addressing WWE Raw’s attack on Daniel Bryan which sent him to the hospital.
As a leader of team blue, he was quite fired up after learning that Kurt Angle will be the team captain of Team Red. So, he did not back down from announcing himself as the new captain of his brand.
It was an expected move considering that WWE will be able to hype up the Survivor Series PPV event by the name of two veteran performers from the Attitude Era. No wonder that the announcement of team Kurt vs team Shane is good enough to please the fans.
Not a very surprising move to have Shane McMahon on Team #SDLive. I still feel like it’s too soon to see him in a ring again.

The match between Ziggler and Roode was a good one in comparison to their last two outings. This time, they were able to bring the thrill out of the contest with a good matchup that handed Roode his spot at the upcoming PPV. His addition was quite a welcoming one for the fans.
Jinder Mahal had a promo segment against Brock Lesnar following an assault to AJ Styles. It was after quite sometimes that the WWE Champion showed the heel persona on WWE TV. It could be a strong buildup for him to the champion vs champion matchup. However, the outcome is still in doubt.
Good attack on Styles by Mahal. Still not sure how they’re going to handle his match against Lesnar. #SDLive

Baron Corbin is still not considered as a good champion. This week’s attack from Sin Cara was a proof of that. His booking is not good, at all since the title win at Hell in a Cell and needs to get addressed as early as possible.
Not a good look for Baron Corbin – retreating from a guy that’s been booked as a joke in a gimmick that was DOA upon debut. #SDLive

The main event match between Nakamura and Kevin Owens was quite a roller-coaster ride for the fans. It is a dream match between two of the great indie scene superstars. Also, Sami Zayn and Randy Orton appeared to add more thrill to it. Nakamura’s win was predictable, as it would allow Zayn and Owens’ heelish vendettas ongoing on the show.
Good match with Owens and Nakamura. This just screams Owens and Zayn screwing Team #SDLive at #SurvivorSeries.

Overall, this week’s Smackdown was a decent Halloween edition, and these are few Twitter reactions:
