Almost every year, WWE initiates a trimming process for their roster. This involves the undeserved superstars to be shown the door by letting them go from the WWE contract. We are habituated to see this in the time of summer. This year though, we have seen it in the fall.
As part of the process, three WWE superstars were released from their WWE deal. Darren Young, Summer Rae, and Emma were those names. The latter one was considered to be an elite talent who deserves much better storylines, and hence the IWC was quite vocal about the company not doing justice with a talent like her.
In case you don’t know, Emma is the first female athlete in the WWE from Australia. She was trained in the first batch superstars from the NXT after Triple H gave it a new makeover a few years ago. The comment of “I started the Divas Revolution” is not a catchphrase only as a match between Paige and Emma in NXT is said to be the starter of the big matches from the female roster.
Following her release from the company, Emma spoke on her Twitter handle for the first time stating that the best is still to come. As seen below, the bio of WWE was removed from her twitter handle and got replaced by her original name.
I feel very fortunate to have the most amazing family, friends and fans in the world! I am excited for the future. The best is yet to come!

The former WWE Superstar received a tremendous amount of support since after posting the tweet. The fans were in her favor from the get-going since the release.
Plus, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave updates stating that letting Emma go from her contract was a late decision from the officials. If that would have been pre-determined, then Asuka would have crushed in the TLC match. But, Emma fought valiantly against the undefeated woman in the WWE. Check out Meltzer’s comments, here, which also indicated that The Clun might also be released, soon,
“This isn’t about Emma quitting this is about them deciding they were gonna cut some people and there may be more. Like I don’t know, those people in that Halloween pumpkin match today, I don’t know. It was kinda ominous to me.”

For now, Emma would not be able to perform outside WWE for 90 days as per WWE norms. Then she can join any of the indie promotions to take her reputation to a different level.
