As per the earlier reports, Charlotte Flair threw a challenge to the former Women’s and Divas Champion of the WWE, Michelle McCool.
In case you have forgotten her name in the midst of the women’s evolution era, you need to know that this particular diva was one of the cornerstones of the female roster for a long time once Trish Stratus and Lita left a huge void in the company.
It was McCool alongside the names of Mickie James and Beth Phoenix who carried the Divas division for a long time. Due to this, she was able to pick up some women’s championships as well as the Divas Championship.
Also, she was the one to be the champion when the Women’s and Divas titles were unified back in 2010. It certainly indicates the relevance of her.

Michelle McCool retired from the WWE in 2011 after which she decided to focus on family, fully. In case you don’t know, she is married to The Undertaker since 2010 and is quite happy with her retired life. For now, The Phenome himself is supposed to be retired to make a happy couple.
However, the situation changed abruptly for the former WWE female employee, as Charlotte Flair sent her an invitation to return to the ring for one last match. McCool was trying to send a congratulatory message to the Queen of the WWE when the latter left the proposal on Twitter.

Considering that the former member of Laycool is away from pro-wrestling for a long time now, we thought that there’s no way that she is going to step back into the ring.
However, her reply was positive that came as a shocker to the fans. Even, Charlotte, herself was left surprised by her reply.

As per the reply from the former champion, she has been waiting for an elite competitor like Charlotte Flair to call her into the in-ring competition.
Apparently, she might be waiting for a call from the WWE to get the permission to wrestle, again. If you check the series of tweets posted McCool, then there’s big chance of this match to happen. We expect to hear more about this story in the future.
