WWE News: Woken Matt Hardy Declared His First Opponent For Deletion 1

On the last edition of Monday Night Raw, Matt Hardy featured in a match against Bray Wyatt in a singles affair. Recently, he has been on a losing spree, as of late with his brother Jeff Hardy being out of action. This time too, no different outcome was observed as Wyatt became the winner by delivering the Sister Abigail move to him.

Following the match, Matt Hardy started acting as the bizarre one to indicate that he is bringing back the Broken gimmick from TNA Impact Wrestling promotion. He started the Delete chants with the fans backing him up to hint the potential character transition that is waiting for him shortly.

Also, he has been giving more strong hints that the Woken gimmick (WWE’s version of the broken gimmick) will be back on WWE Raw. Apparently, he is over with the tug of war against the Impact Wrestling who previously claimed the gimmick to be owned by them. From now onwards, they will withdraw their names from suing Hardy over protecting the rights.

Hence, Matt Hardy did not hesitate to declare the first person that he is targeting upon his character change. It is going to be none other than Bray Wyatt from the flagship programming. This will be a continuation of a storyline that began with a matchup on last week’s WWE Raw. The Woken one will try to ‘Delete’ the eater of the world from his dictionary, next.

WWE is recreating the Broken version under a new name which is quite interesting. All the characteristics of the previous gimmick will be retained with only the name being changed. Fans have waited a long time to see this weird character on WWE TV, and they might get to see it, real soon.

Also, it is to be noted that Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt is a dream rivalry for the fans. With the Woken gimmick being intact, these two are the most bizarre characters in the pro-wrestling industry. So, their feud will be interesting.
