The opener for last night’s Smackdown was quite a good one. The Singh Brothers were able to trick the fans, as if they were abandoning Jinder Mahal.
But, then the cunning antics of Mahal was felt. But, that did not stop AJ Styles to make them retreat by taking out the brothers-in-arms. It gave a great start to the show.
The following women’s division matchup was kind of okay with the same rivalry between Charlotte and Natalya continuing for the better part of the year. The DQ finish was not demanded by the crowd, as this makes things dull.
Good opener for the show. Simple build for the #ClashofChampions main event. #SDLive

The same outcome was observed during Corbin vs Ziggler too, as this made the show a bore-fest for the better part of the evening. The squash match in favour of the Bludgeon Brothers was an additional headache to it.
Not much of a match between Flair and Riott. Most of it took place in that small box during the commercial. Ok build for Sunday’s event. Nothing great. #SDLive

The tag team match result was quite a surprising one, as Rusev, and Aiden English picked up a win against the dominant champion, The Usos. It kept the momentum in their favour who is now considered as one of the favourites to win the title match at the Clash of Champions.
Daniel Bryan’s inclusion into the tag team match between Orton-Nakamura and Owens-Zayn made things interesting to a certain extent. Bryan acting as the other special guest referee in the Clash of Champions matchup will help to build up the ongoing feud between him and Shane McMahon.
Decent in ring promo with Owens, Zayn, and Bryan that maybe went a few minutes too long. Good intrigue for the tag match on Sunday. They’re definitely continuing to tease dissension with Bryan and McMahon. Wonder if it’ll lead to anything. #SDLive

But, we are still to find out what is going to be the outcome of this rivalry. Furthermore, the teasing of Bryan’s in-ring return has been going on with these small happenings in the blue brand. Overall, the show did not live up to the expectations to hype-up the upcoming PPV. Check out the Twitter reactions, here,
