WWE News: Reason Behind Brock Lesnar’s Appearance on This Week’s Raw 1

Last week, WWE announced that Brock Lesnar will be back on Monday Night Raw with just one week remaining from Christmas. The appearance was confirmed earlier by the host of the show, Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island which was officially let known by the flagship show. Now, the main concern of this appearance was that, as of why the beast was resurfacing weeks before he was expected.

His last showdown was against AJ Styles at the Survivor Series PPV which was a dream match for the pro-wrestling fans. It was a fascinating contest between two of the most elite competitors in the pro-wrestling industry, as the biggest box-office attraction of the WWE went head-to-head against the most technical wrestler of this generation. The result went in favour of the beast, as Styles fell victim to an emphatic F-5.

Going forward, it was believed that the reigning Universal Champion will return at the beginning of next year to address his next challenger at the Royal Rumble PPV. However, there were conflict reports of WWE not being able to decide his opponent for the PPV.

It was fuelled up since the number one contender’s match was also disqualified, last week. In the meantime, the announcement came about Brock Lesnar’s return making the speculations running rampant regarding the title scenario. WWE.com gave an update for the possible reason owing to which the beast incarnate would be back,

“This past Monday night’s Raw main event should have decided Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship challenger at the 2018 Royal Rumble event on Sunday, Jan. 28. However, Braun Strowman and Kane’s hard-hitting bout quickly descended into chaos. Following a double count-out, neither Superstar emerged as The Beast’s challenger. So, who will rise to face The Conqueror? Live on Raw, Lesnar returns to address the future of his championship — and the behemoths intent on capturing it.”

It is being assumed that the general manager, Kurt Angle will come up with an announcement regarding the championship scenario on the show. The two monsters, Kane and Braun Strowman, might have to undergo yet another match to earn the rights, or it might turn out to be a triple threat scenario at the Royal Rumble as well including all of them. The situation is to be clarified on tonight’s WWE Raw.
