WWE: Twitter Reactions From the Latest Edition of Raw: December 25, 2017 1

It’s evident that the flagship programming is looking directionless at this point with no PPV events in nearby weeks. It is going to be a headache for the officials, as there is a huge gap between the bygone Survivor Series PPV and the Royal Rumble event in January. With no nearby culmination point around, we have seen numerous impromptu matches.

There were more than four filler matches for this week’s edition of WWE Raw and even for the number one contenders for the Universal Championships. Both Kane and Braun Strowman won their respective matches to continue their momentums towards the title match. However, these matches were unable to make the proper impact on the crowd.

John Cena’s return saved the show to a certain extent, as the Chicago crowd was standing on their feet with the usual reactions for the franchise player of the company. However, during his match against Elias, we did hear the “this is boring” chants, as well considering that the audience did know the predictable outcome which went to the Cena’s favor.

The rivalry between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe started to become more intense with this week’s brawl on WWE Raw. This feud has become a personal one with continuous attacks from both the sides in the past few weeks. It is going to continue for weeks to come until Royal Rumble passes by and hence we witnessed a DQ while finishing the contest.

The finishing of the show was quite interesting, however, as we had expected the least to witness a title change on the show. It looks like the push towards Jason Jordan is going to get bigger with him holding his first-ever titles in hand alongside Rollins. It was indeed surprising to see him getting the pinfall against Cesaro to earn the WWE Raw tag team championships while ending the show.

Check out the Twitter reactions from an overall decent edition of the show:
