After winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in the year 2017, it was quite easy for Mojo Rawley to get a singles push on the Smackdown roster. He was able to pick up this big win at the 33rd edition of Wrestlemania by virtue of an assist from his friend, Rob Gronkowski. So, we thought that WWE creative team will let him establish as a singles superstar on the blue brand.
However, in reality, it was totally different as the WWE officials allowed him to team up with his former partner, Zack Ryder continuing the Hype Bros tag team that took him to nowhere, till date. These two were not able to pick any sort of momentums around themselves in the tag team division leading to a frustration to Mojo Rawley who is younger than Ryder and has plenty of careers left in him.
So, the inevitable happened following the Survivor Series PPV where Mojo finally turned his back on Ryder by delivering a pre-meditated attack. This shocked the WWE fans but was much needed for Mojo Rawley who was waiting to get a big push on the roster for over a year.

This also led to a singles competition between these two superstars at the Clash of Champions PPV kick-off show. It was quite a personal rivalry and turned out to be a physical matchup. As expected, Mojo Rawley won the contest to go ahead as a singles superstar.
Recent updates from cagesideseats.com also suggest that a big push is waiting for the former NXT Superstar. Apparently, WWE officials are pleased with the way that he has been delivering promos in recent times. During this feud with Ryder, we heard him talking trash about his former buddy for quite a few times which were considered to be fiery promos.

Apparently, these were enough to impress the WWE creative heads and hence the source reported,
“Mojo Rawley’s online promos for his match with Zack Ryder on Sunday got a ton of praise from all over the place, and could have him in-line for a mid-card push.”

Mojo’s inclusion to the mid-card scene, potentially starting a feud for the US title will certainly make things interesting on Smackdown Live and might hand him a big match at the upcoming Wrestlemania show, as well.
