Becky Lynch has been a fan favourite for the better part of the WWE career. Whether with a good role on TV or not, the crowd always backed her up with cheers which is a good thing for a particular superstar. Despite this fact, the officials could not find the X-factor in her as a result of which she was unable to establish her as a bonafide competitor in the women’s division.
Following the brand split back in 2016, she was the first draft pick for the Smackdown Live brand. This was a severe indication that she will be treated as the face of the women’s division for a long period. Consecutively, she received the inaugural women’s title from the blue brand at the Backlash PPV.
When it was thought that the momentum would be on her side, she was derailed by the presence of Alexa Bliss as her opponent. The former NXT star overshadowed her and dethroned Lynch from her throne. Since that point, the Irish woman is finding it hard to be back on track.

The former Smackdown women’s champion was last seen on TV back at the post-Survivor Series episode of the show where The Riott Squad mad their debut on the show by delivering an ambush to her. This was a storyline angle to withdraw her from televised appearances.
It was all my pleasure! I couldn’t have asked for a better director on my first movie. I loved every second of it and would do it all again in a heartbeat. Thank you, James. Until next time! #ThatsAWrap #Marine6 https://t.co/fBbqiuPLty

He’s one of my all-time favourite wrestlers who always personified the definition of cool. He’s as great in this movie as he is in the ring. Thank you @shawnmichaelswwe for all your patience and advice. You’re an absolute legend. pic.twitter.com/41xyiJaKPC

In reality, Becky Lynch headed to film the sixth film for the Marine franchise alongside The Miz and Shawn Michaels. Recent updates from the social media suggested that she is done doing her role in the movie and then headed back to enjoy a time-off in her home country of Ireland. As you can see in these tweets, the former champion teased her return but did not clarify it. Hopefully, she will be back onboard in time for the Rumble event.

I’ve landed in Ireland and there’s nothing like home soil to recharge your powers. Charm REFUELLED 100%. Harm REFUELLED 100%. I can feel the history of 1000s of years of slaps and dis-arm-hers in the air. #SDLive roster be warned… #BeckysBackSoon #FullOfCharmFullOfHarm
