India have registered a resounding win over the hosts Sri Lanka, defeating them by 278 runs. India didn’t take much of a time to close out the Sri Lankan innings as they picked by 7 wickets in the morning session. Further rain interruption delayed India’s success and early lunch was taken. Post lunch Mishra did the final proceeding by picking up the wicket of Chameera. Ashwin ended up picking five wickets. KL Rahul named the man of the match.
