A plenty volunteered their names to enter the Royal Rumble match, this week. History is waiting for the women superstars, as they will receive the first-ever women’s Rumble match. It was announced by Stephanie McMahon, three weeks ago on an episode of WWE Raw. However, we were yet to receive an update on the rules for this match.
According to the updates from WWE.com, the rules will remain the same for the second Rumble match, as well. Therefore, 30 women will be entering with the last woman standing inside the ring declared to be the winner who will receive the chance to challenge a champion of her choice. The match will take place at Wrestlemania. Check out the updates here,
“The historic Women’s match will be contested in the exact same fashion as the Men’s match: 30 Superstars will enter, one at a time, at consistent intervals. An elimination occurs when a Superstar is sent over the top rope with both feet touching the floor, and the last woman standing will receive a Championship Match at WrestleMania.”
