WWE: Raw Full Results: January 15, 2018 1

Last night’s episode of WWE Raw set the tone high for the historic 25th anniversary that is happening, next week. A huge main event was stored on the night between Asuka and Nia Jax, whereas, Roman Reigns was expected to seek vengeance against The Miz. Check out the results of the show hosted by the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

WWE Raw kicked off with a segment featuring Braun Strowman. The crowd cheered him a lot after a strong promo. He was soon interrupted by Kurt Angle who addressed the attack of Strowman, last week. With the accusation that the monster creates an unsafe environment to work with, Angle fired him from the roster.

The Bar had a rematch against the Titus Worldwide after suffering a shocking loss, last week. Sheamus and Cesaro went recklessly towards both Tits O’Neil and Apollo Crews to seek redemption. Sheamus broke a pinning attempt by Crews following a standing moon assault. Jason Jordan’s music hit the arena, as he came out to provide the distraction. Crews rolled up Sheamus to pick up yet another win over The Bar.

Nia Jax and Asuka’s singles match on WWE Raw did not live up to the hype considering the booking. Jax went for some offensive moves from the get-go to put Asuka down. But, the former NXT Women’s Champion came back right into the match locking in the kneebar. She broke the count out by holding the ropes but started struggling with the legs. She was unable to make it to the ring from outside to get counted out, as the referee called for the bell.

Roman Reigns had a match with the two members of The Miztourage in a handicapped capacity. Before the match, The Miz cut a promo on how he plans to regain his Intercontinental title, next week. In the match, he tried to distract Reigns, multiple times but was scared off by the Big Dog. Later, Reigns connected with the superman punch following up with a spear on Axel to win the match.

Braun Strowman wrecked havoc on the show after getting fired. He attacked everyone standing in front of him at the backstage area and came back to the ring to attack Michael Cole. Kurt Angle ran down to the arena with the securities by his side informing him that Stephanie McMahon just rehired him on the show. However, Strowman threw Cole onto the security guards to injure him before leaving the ring.

Cedric Alexander defeated Tony Nese in a singles contest. Woken Matt Hardy defeated Heath Slater by hitting Twist of Fate in quick time. Paige was removed officially from Royal Rumble. Her mate, Sonya Deville defeated Sasha Banks in a singles match. Also, The Revival squashed two local talents.

In the main event match of the night, Finn Balor was pitted against Seth Rollins in a rematch from Summerslam 2016. Jason Jordan stood by the side of Rollins, whereas, Gallows & Anderson stood by Balor during the match. The Bar attacked Balor Club during the match providing the distraction. It allowed Seth Rollins to capitalise, as he hit Balor with the banned move, Curb Stomp to pick up a huge win and close the show.
