This year’s Royal Rumble was indeed special since not 30, but overall 60 superstars competed in two separate prestigious battle royal matches.
For the first time, Stephanie McMahon announced that an all-women Royal Rumble match would be hosted at the 31st edition of the PPV. With the rules remaining the same, the winner will get the opportunity to have a championship match at Wrestlemania.

We were down to the final four comprising Bella Twins, Banks, and Asuka. The Twins threw Banks off the top rope after which Nikki did the same to her sister, too. But, finally, it was Asuka who stood tall by overcoming the longest reigning Divas champions’ challenge.
She is now heading towards Wrestlemania with title goal on her mind. After the match, Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance to point out to the Wrestlemania sign intending to perform in it and closing the show.
