Last night’s Smackdown Live opened up with another segment between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon that is continuing for months surrounding with tense moments.

It turned out to be quite awkward between them at the time but AJ Styles appeared on the scene to save the moment. This had also set the tone for the main event match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

The opening contest was a good one, too. It is good to see the Riott Squad getting the spotlight and in-ring presence on a weekly basis which is definitely good for their WWE career.

The matchup was quite good with the faction trying to show their strength while Charlotte overcame all the odds being the Queen.

The Bludgeon Brothers and The Usos continued to cross paths teasing a matchup in the future over the championship.

We can’t wait to see this contest which is going to be a real hard-hitting contest. The Usos continued to show their dominance with strong promos on a weekly basis.

The United States Championship match was a solid one. The chemistry between Bobby Roode and Rusev was too good to miss. It was bad to see Rusev coming up short, yet again despite huge cheers from the crowd.

Considering that Wrestlemania season is coming, Randy Orton appeared in the scene after the match hinting that he might get involved in the scenario in the near future which is interesting.

The main event match was good, too with a predictive outcome. The match was disqualified at the end via Styles’ interference.

This allowed the officials to retain both Owens and Zayn in the title picture setting up a triple threat match at Fastlane. Till then, the champion will have to deal with these on the blue brand.
