WWE Hall of Fame can be considered as the one event where superstars from different companies are allowed in the WWE in order to let them have the biggest honour for the contributions in the pro-wrestling world.
In general, WWE does not allow any outsiders of the company to show up in their programming nor they consider their talents appearing on the other promotions.
However, the Hall of Fame ceremony is something much different where all the bitterness among the officials is kept aside.
Owing to this, we have seen numerous legends coming back to the company like Ultimate Warrior, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle and more. This year too, The Dudley Boyz will be inducted into the prestigious club despite Bubba Rey Dudley being an ROH superstar.
In recent times, an unthinkable name was rumoured to be a part of the 2018 Hall of Fame Class of Inductee spot. He is none other than the former creative head of the Impact Wrestling promotion, Jeff Jarrett. This particular company is considered to be the bitter rival of the WWE ever since its birth.
It is a long-term story between Vince McMahon and Jeff Jarrett that caused such friction.
Jarrett used to be an employee under WWE in the 90s. But, he left on bad terms with Mr McMahon back in the 1999 and went to the WCW.
Later, McMahon bought WCW and fired Jarrett on live television which was insulting. That led the banished person to come up with the idea of starting a new wrestling venture under the name of TNA wrestling promotion.
So, it was quite surprising to hear a rumour that where this man would return to the scenes of WWE after almost two decades. In the latest announcement from the company on last night’s WWE Raw, it was finally confirmed that the mastermind will be back to his former employer after almost two decades.
