The Wrestlemania season officially kicked off on WWE Raw following the Elimination Chamber PPV.
The storyline angles for the biggest event of the year will be on their way to get built up on the show, starting from now. By this, we can expect to see some marquee matches at the grandest stage of the year.
One of the title planning that has still not been confirmed is the Intercontinental Championship scenario. The Miz does not have a confirmed number one contender for his title, till date. The previous reports around the title stated Braun Strowman would be the one to challenge the reigning champion resulting in a singles matchup at Wrestlemania.
However, the scenario has changed big-time in recent times. In recent times, Seth Rollins pinned The Miz in a singles contest.
This earned him the right to get a shot to the Intercontinental Championship. If Rollins’ inclusion to the mix was not enough, then Finn Balor was added to it, as well. The former Universal Champion pinned the champion, as well in a singles contest to be added in the capacity, as well.
So, the reports from Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated stated a multi-men championship scenario is being sketched where the odds will be stacked against the title-holder. He might have to defend the title against four WWE Raw superstars at the same time which means it is going to be a fatal-five-way match for the mid-card title.

A feud between Elias and Strowman has already been teased to continue, whilst Rollins and Balor have laid down the groundwork for the beginning of their feud, which could easily lead to a fatal five-way match.”

This report indicates there’s no way Braun Strowman will be excluded from the title picture at Wrestlemania. Previously, he did pin The Miz on two different occasions in the Gauntlet and the Elimination Chamber match. So, he becomes an automatic contender, as well. It will be interesting to see how Elias will be added to the mix.
