WWE News: Huge Fatal-5-Way Match Results from Smackdown Live 1

Last week, AJ Styles faced a huge loss at the hands of John Cena. The latter one shifted his home brand in order to have a Wrestlemania match.

So, he tried to get included in the WWE Championship match to take place at the WWE Fastlane PPV. Since this is the land of opportunity, he had to earn his position.

A match was announced by the general manager, Daniel Bryan that stated that if Cena pulled off the victory, he would get added to the WWE Championship match.

The confirmed opponent for him was the title-holder himself, AJ Styles. In the main event of the last week’s Smackdown Live, John Cena picked up the win handing away AJ another loss.

It was not a good sign for the champion heading into the WWE Championship match where all the odds are stacked against him from the get-go. He received another chance to bounce back on last night’s show after it was announced that Dolph Ziggler would be his opponent on Smackdown from Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The night started for him with a promo where he pointed out that the odds are stacked against him, clearly, once again. But, this is why he is referred as the Phenomenal One.

So, there will not be a problem for him to overcome the challenges from five other competitors and head onto Wrestlemania 34 against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Dolph Ziggler interrupted him before the beginning of the scheduled matchup. These two gave us a back and forth which saw Ziggler missing a superkick but catching AJ with a zig-zag which kept both men down for sometimes.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came out to the ring to ruin this exciting contest. They started attacking both these superstars.

Shane McMahon could not find a better opportunity to come out and gave the fans a bigger treat on Smackdown, just before the Fastlane PPV. He announced a fatal-5-way match comprising all the superstars involved in the upcoming six-pack challenge. Only John Cena was absent from the mix.

The end of the match was a classic one between two of the best friends of Smackdown Live. Owens downed Styles by delivering a forearm when Zayn caught him from the back with a huge helluva Kick to pick up the win. Zayn won the contest keeping the momentum on his side heading into the WWE Championship match at Fastlane.
