WWE: Twitter Reactions from This Week’s Smackdown Live: March 6, 2018 1

This week’s Smackdown Live had a fresh opening segment that featured two women superstars.

It was good to see them kicking things off rather than the usual openings featuring Styles or the commissioner, Shane McMahon.

Whenever you give a mic to Ruby Riott, she does justice to it, and this time around, she was able to deliver a fired-up promo against the women’s champion, Charlotte Flair.

The opening matchup was a good one between Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal. The one half of the Singh Brothers took a usual bump from Orton on the table. He sold the bump to a great extent to give us a mark-out moment. It was a good idea to hand over Jinder Mahal with the win since this would help him to stick around the US title picture.

Another fresh thing from Smackdown was to see Carmella getting back to the television. This woman is fun to watch. She is so well while screaming at the referee or selling the moves delivered by the opponents.

In the continuation of the matchup, we got the tag team match at Fastlane which is likely to be a dud, though.

Also, the promo segment was very good between AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler. It kept the fans on their toes anticipating the dream match between Nakamura and Styles at Wrestlemania.

It is in certain jeopardy now that the phenomenal one will have to defend against five other superstars, at the same time.

It was good to see Sami Zayn winning the Smackdown main event match since he hardly gets the spotlight. It is not likely that this Canadian superstar will get his first WWE Championship at the upcoming PPV.

But, with this kind of wins, he will be able to elevate his level to the next stage which is much-needed. It was also quite exciting to see Zayn picking up the win against a best friend, Kevin Owens.

Overall, it was a good effort pulled off by the Smackdown Live creative team with just five days remaining from Fastlane PPV. Check out the Twitter reactions from the show:
