Last night’s Smackdown Live went off the air on an interesting note with Nakamura letting AJ Styles go, dodging a knee.
He saved it for the biggest event of the year, on April 8th in New Orleans. Meanwhile, with consecutive wins over several opponents and the injury rumours surrounding AJ Styles’ condition, this man received all the momentums by his side.
Meanwhile, a lot had happened when the cameras stopped rolling following last night’s Smackdown Live. There was an interesting dark match before the show. It was a tag team match featuring two of the irregular superstars from the main show of the blue brand.
It featured Zack Ryder and Tye Dillinger defeating Mike Bennett and Mojo Rawley.
Tye hit his finishing manoeuvre on Kanellis to get the pinfall win. After the match, Kanellis posted a warm message on Twitter giving a round of applause for the ovation crowd gave towards him. It turned out to be quite an overwhelming experience for him.
This year has been an absolute roller coaster ride. The highest of highs and the lowest of lows. But Pittsburgh, that reaction you gave me tonight, sure as hell makes it all seem worth it ?? #PowerOfLove

Another post-Smackdown matchup witnessed a huge tag team contest comprising the WWE Champion, AJ Styles, in action.
It might have assured the fans that he is okay while heading into Wrestlemania to take on Nakamura. In this particular match, AJ Styles and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defeat Baron Corbin, Rusev and Aiden English in six-man action.

The match turned out to be quite an entertaining affair, as per reports from wrestlingINC.com,
“Like dark matches often do, the match featured shenanigans from the start as Rusev came out impersonating WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, air guitar and all. The finish saw WWE referee Danilo Anfibio superkick English while Styles counted the pin.”

Apart from these contests, we got some major news from the Smackdown Fallout show, where Lana gave an interview. She failed while begging for a spot at the Mixed Match Challenge replacing Charlotte.
Hence, she declared to enter the Women’s Battle Royal at Wrestlemania with no other option available.
Dolph Ziggler and Breezango continued their altercations at the backstage on Smackdown, as well. It set up their entries to the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at this year’s Wrestlemania, altogether.
