The game is titled more towards the batsmen. But the recent crops of bowlers have also been chalking out their plans – to make things equally difficult for the batters.

He sent down 163.2 overs in which he conceded 1,308 runs. He bagged 56 wickets at the average of 23.35. His best figures stand as five for 25.
James Faulkner: two five-wicket hauls in 60 matches –
Australian bowling all-rounder has played a significant role for distinct teams in IPL. He has bagged two five-wicket hauls in 60 outings.
However, the promising bowler Faulkner bagged 59 wickets at an average of 30.13.
He went on to bowl 204.3 overs in which he conceded 1,778 runs.
Andrew Tye: One five-wicket haul –
Australian fast bowler Andrew Tye has been superb during his maiden IPL stint in the tenth edition. Although he did not have enough matches, he went on to impress the franchises.
Tye, who bowled superbly for the now-defunct Gujarat Lions. He bagged 12 wickets in six matches at an exceptional average of 11.75. He claimed the best figures of five for 17 to leave a significant impact.
Sohail Tanvir: One five-wicket haul –
Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Tanvir made his IPL entry in the first-ever edition way back in 2008.
The 33-year-old Rawalpindi-born left-arm bowler Tanvir set the platform on fire with his splendid figures. He went on to pick 22 wickets in 11 matches while sending down 41.1 overs. He went on to lay his hands on the Purple Cap.
Tanvir bowled at an incredible average of 12.09. He has set the record of best bowling in an innings in IPL after claiming six wickets for just 14 runs.
Adam Zampa: One five-wicket haul –
Australian leg-spinner is looking forward to delivering best in a bid to continue for the national fold. Zampa played 11 matches in which he bagged 19 wickets at an exceptional average of 14.63.
The wily customer conceded 278 runs in 36.5 overs. His best figures included six for 19.
Moreover, Windies spinner Sunil Narine is topping the charts with the most number of four wickets in an innings. He claimed four-plus wickets for seven times.
The second spot is maintained by Lasith Malinga, who already featured by Mumbai Indians. He claimed five four-wicket hauls.
Thirdly, former Chennai Super Kings’ bowler Lakshmipathi Balaji bagged four during his career which is followed as four each by Ravindra Jadeja and Amit Mishra.
