WWE Rumour: Potential Planning With Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn After Wrestlemania 34 1

Over the last year, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been able to establish themselves as the top heels of the WWE.

They grew quite a bad blood with Shane McMahon that was the focal point of Smackdown Live for the better part of 2017. As it reached the highest level, these two attacked the commissioner of the show on the March 13th episode of the show which was disturbing to witness.

While taking a precautionary step to their actions, Daniel Bryan decided to fire them, next week. It was on the same day where he was declared medically cleared to compete in a WWE ring, again. So, they could not contain their frustrations and started attacking the general manager, on the spot. It was a perfect setup for a match at the Wrestlemania event.

So, going forward, we have received the inevitable matchup where Shane McMahon would team up with Daniel Bryan to take on the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. While announcing this match, the ban from the heel superstars temporarily got lifted. They are reinstated on Smackdown roster just to perform in this matchup.

The condition was given that if they end up losing this encounter at Wrestlemania, then they would lose their job. So, this is going to be their last chance to retain their position on Smackdown Live.

However, the ongoing speculations suggest they should not be able to do that successfully and would ultimately come up short. In that case, there would be a backup plan.

According to the reports from SportsKeeda.com, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn would be shifted to a different brand in the post-Wrestlemania season. The upcoming Draft will help to do this, effectively,

“Owens and Zayn are slated to take on Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon with the angle culminating in the duo moving to Raw after their match at Mania. Bryan Alvarez noted that WWE could introduce Owens and Zayn as part of the red brand on the Superstar Shake-Up episode that is rumored to happen after WrestleMania.”

It would be a good thing for both of them, as well. They are done competing with almost every superstar available on the Smackdown brand. Hence, sending them onto WWE Raw will create newer storylines, for sure. Furthermore, the Wrestlemania match is Daniel Bryan’s comeback match which he can’t lose.
