IPL 2018: Watch - Suresh Raina's Stunning Run-Out to Get Rid of Robin Uthappa 1

No matter whether he is batting or fielding, Suresh Raina just cannot stop hogging the limelight.

And when it comes to the Indian Premier League, there is no stopping the southpaw. He loves to massacre the bowlers when he comes out to bat and makes life difficult for the opposition when he is on the field.

Well, Kolkata Knight Riders will agree to it. Raina is yet to bat in the ongoing game, but he has already made a couple of huge contributions that can well decide the game. In the second over, he took an outstanding catch to send back the dangerous Sunil Narine who had already hit two sixes in his short stay.

And just when it seemed, the Knight Riders are set for a big total; he affected a brilliant run-out to put Chennai Super Kings on top.

Robin Uthappa was looking in his elements. The right-handed batsman had already hit three sixes and two fours in his 15-ball stay before falling to a brilliant piece of fielding from Raina.

It happened in the ninth over when Uthappa played a Shane Watson delivery with soft hands towards the covers. He was watching the ball, and in the meantime, his partner Dinesh Karthik had decided to go for the single. The ball was looking set to evade the infield, but Raina made a brilliant dive and stopped the ball. He was not done yet, as he composed himself, turned himself around and hit the stumps while still being on his knees.

Uthappa was short by miles and had to leave the field disappointed.

Here is a clip of that run out:
