The Indian Premier League caravan moved to the city of Chennai, as the ‘yellow army’ welcomed their stars of the Chennai Super Kings after a two-year hiatus.
CSK won their second match by five wickets in the tournament in a high run chase against Kolkata.
The first inning of the match belonged to the Jamaican powerhouse, Andre Russell who smashed a whopping eleven sixes during his 36-ball 88. The West Indian even hit one out of the Chepauk Stadium for a 105-m hit.
Russell single-handedly took KKR from 89-5 to 202-6, by the end of their innings.

Early blitz from seasoned stars, Rayudu and Watson, set it up beautifully for the host, as they reached 75 before the power play ended.
CSK, after losing their way during the middle overs, had too much left to do, but Sam Billings brought them right back into the match with his 23-ball 56.
Lots to learn from the team: Billings
Billings struck at a rate of 243 with the help of his five sixes and two boundaries. As a result, the Englishman was awarded as the man of the match for his sensational knock under pressure.

“It was an absolute pressure to play in a team of legends. That is the good thing about the IPL. You have Hussey as the batting coach as well,” mentioned Sam Billings while receiving his accolade.
Billings disclosed he had several plans in his head while playing his best knock in his IPL career.
“You know your options in your head, plan A, plan B and plan C, but you need to believe in yourself and execute. In T20 cricket, you need to keep it deep. We have lots of power in our batting line-up,” concluded man of the match, Billings.
