WWE Smackdown results 15th October 2015

This week’s show starts with Roman Reigns as he tries to cut a promo on his long-term rival Bray Wyatt but gets interrupted by Bo Dallas. He is given advice that there’s nothing wrong in scaring because he himself survived the Suplex City and the only way he is leaving Hell in a Cell is by a stretcher causing an impromptu matchup.

 

Roman Reigns def. Bo Dallas

Two of them lock up in the ring. This one deserved to be pretty short and so Reigns does not take much time to take the upper hand by delivering a Samoan drop and Superman punch. And finishes the job with a huge spear. His message towards Bray though was not finished as he takes the mic and starts to give some message while bray pops up in the Tron and says he is storing something for the Big Dog on Monday.

 

Sheamus and King Barrett def. Cesaro and Neville

This was the rematch from RAW where Stardust and the Ascension are in ringside casually with some Stardust section present in the audience. The heels are thrown outside at the utmost startup of the match though they take control during the break. Neville was able to tag Cesaro who flooded the ring with uppercuts. While going for the swing, Cesaro got hit with the bull hammer as the referee gets distracted which allows Sheamus to pick up the win.

 

Renee young is interviewing Summer Rae and she says she is the special guest referee for the match of Ziggler and Rusev and this is not the last time when she sets a man straight and can keep her professional and personal life separate.

 

 

Kevin Owens vs. Zack Ryder

Ryback is present at ringside to watch his opponent at hell in a cell. This one is a pretty unlike match up as Ryder is not worthy enough for Owens now. Though he shocks Owens with double knees and a second rope dropkick but gets clotheslined thereafter and end up by getting a pop-up Powerbomb from the champ.

 

Paige and Natalya segment

Nattie fiddling with her phone runs into Paige who says she is there to apologize for her recent actions. She misses Natalya, her friend and mentor from NXT and she wants to get back her friend. Natalys tells that she is in the right path and Paige needs to stay away from her as she heads into the locker room.

Dolph Ziggler def. Rusev – Summer Rae guest referee

The matchup was average with the only thing to see how the special referee is going to effect the match results. Summer does a slow count after Rusev hits a super kick on Ziggler and slaps Rusev again as she was arguing with her creating Ziggler the opportunity to hit him with a Zigzag to pick up the victory.

 

Summer then says that Rusev cheated on him whereas Lana Cheated on Ziggler and he can’t deny that they both have great chemistry. Ziggler says that he is not trusting Summer as he is not willing to be used by her.

 

 

Luke Harper and Braun Strowman def. The Primetime Players

Pretty uneven match as Strowman takes immediate control of the match by knocking O’Neil down. Darren is tagged and tries to create some offence which produces no result as he runs into a superkick from Harper and gets choked out by Strowman.

 

 

Charlotte def. Alicia Fox

After some initial brawl, Charlotte starts giving chops which follows with a spear and finally ends up locking Fox up in Figure 8 as she taps out. Team Bella attacks the champion and Becky until Paige shows up and saves the day for them. Charlotte and Becky don’t know what to do with Paige.

Paige even tries to apologize before them backstage while they denied accepting that instantly. Afterwards, Natalya is found lying on the floor in the locker room as the officials are checking her. Wonder what happened and if Paige is a part of it or not.

 

 

 

Dudley Boyz and Dean Ambrose def. The New Day

Before the match, The New Day lectures their way once again reminding the who’s who they had knocked off recently. This was a fun match as Ambrose and Dudleyz getting tags quickly and running roughshod over the New Day so much that at one point Xavier Woods gets busted open. Kofi gets a 3D form the Dudleyz, but Woods hits Bubba with the trombone giving them the win by disqualification. Then the New Day goes on to beat down everyone in the ring and stands tall at the end of the show once again.
