WWE: Twitter Reactions From This Week’s Raw: April 16, 2018 1

WWE Raw received a solid opener, this week with a big acquisition from Smackdown Live.

Moments later, we had witnessed a title change on the show that was surprising. Jinder Mahal coming on WWE Raw was expected, but the impromptu title match against Jeff Hardy was not we have thought. But, it was good to see the latter one finally winning the US title, for the first time.

Despite the potential of a hot Sasha Banks-Bayley rivalry, it is just not taking off. Their singles contest on WWE Raw was a dud one. They were unable to bring the spark back from their NXT days.

So, to save the segment, we received The Riott Squad. If used properly, then Ruby Riott can be a huge star in the women’s division, going forward.

Another great addition to WWE Raw was the inclusion of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. They were bound to join the flagship show after getting fired from the Smackdown Live brand. These two are going to be huge assets on the show, going forward.

But, at the same time, we will miss The Miz on Monday Nights. Each of the weeks, his segment has been a must watch that will no more be on the show. Meanwhile, Natalya joining forces with Ronda Rousey is also something very interesting.

The creative team is using the former UFC superstar, so well that she has become the natural babyface from the women’s division which is so good for them.

Also, the career of Dolph Ziggler is likely to get revamped now that he has found a partner in Drew McIntyre. The crowd went nuts after seeing the former NXT Champion debuting on the show, all of a sudden.

The closing segments of WWE Raw witnessed a fun ten-man tag team action with everybody’s favourite, Braun Strowman finishing it off in style.
