This week’s WWE Raw expected to be a packed one to have the final hype-up for Greatest Royal Rumble event.
The beast incarnate returned to the show to make the night even more interesting. A confrontation happened between him and Roman Reigns. Check out the results from the show hosted by the Scottrade Center in Saint Louis, Missouri.
WWE Raw kicked off with moments of silence in the memory of Bruno Sammartino. Once it was over, we were live with Brock Lesnar coming onto the show. Paul Heyman once again delivered a solid promo to hype-up the Universal Championship match. Roman Reigns came out to have a confrontation vowing that he will take the title away on this Friday.
In the opening contest of WWE Raw, Bobby Roode competed in a match against Elias. After the initial domination, Roode got caught with a cheap shot by Elias who followed with a roll-up to pick up the win. In another match, Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy defeated The Ascension in a tag team matchup.
The first-ever Sami and Kevin Show happened on WWE Raw with the special guest, Kurt Angle. They gloated about filling up the vacancy of the Miz and his Miztourage from last week. Also, they vowed about winning the 50-superstar Greatest Royal Rumble match. But, Angle reminded him of being in the contest, himself.
Also, the GM put these two in a match against the team of Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman. Lashley took an early advantage in the match punishing Kevin Owens. The heels were able to shift the momentum in their favour, momentarily. But, Strowman got the hot tag in the match and bulldozed his way to victory, just like that with a running powerslam.
Seth Rollins declined to team up with Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. So, he was forced to team up with Finn Balor to face the former members of Miztourage. Rollins delivered a Curb Stomp on Axel, whereas, Balor delivered a Coup De Grace on Dallas to pick up the win. Chad Gable defeated Jinder Mahal in a singles competition.
No Way Jose was seen having fun on WWE Raw which was cut short by Baron Corbin. Corbin hit him from the back while being on the ramp. Jose was sent to head first to the LED board. Furthermore, a chokeslam backbreaker was delivered to him to end the segment. Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler defeated Titus Worldwide in a tag team contest to continue their momentum.
In the main event of WWE Raw, we received a 10-woman tag team match. The lineup was Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, and The Riott Squad vs Bayley, Ember Moon, Natalya, Sasha Banks, and Nia Jax. Natalya was cornered, once again by Mickie James when Ronda Rousey’s music hit. She charged down to the ring to lock in the arm-bar on Mickie. The show ended with Rousey helping Natalya to go to the backstage.
