It has been a long time that we have seen the Bella Twins performing in the WWE in a storyline angle.

Back at Wrestlemania 32, Brie Bella had her last match in the form of a tag team competition. It was her bidding adieu to the squared circle before she got pregnant and later the mother of Birdie Joe Danielson.

On the other hand, Nikki Bella has been dealing with a neck injury for three years now. Owing to this, she could never perform on a full-time basis inside the ring. Last year at Wrestlemania 33, she featured in a tag team match with her then-boyfriend, John Cena to defeat the team of The Miz and Maryse.

Following this, the Bella Twins, once again, resurfaced at the women’s Royal Rumble match, this year. It was just a one-off scenario for the fans to see the Twin Magic back in the ring. They have teased to come back for a short stint once 2018 commences but that never happened, till date.

Apparently, there’s still a chance to see that by a social media altercation. Recently, WWE has shared an article making a wishlist for the new Smackdown general manager, Paige.

She has done a tremendous job as the authority figure of the show. Going forward, WWE gave some big hints about her innovative ideas.

Within the list, we saw the introduction of a tag team championship for the women’s division. Nikki Bella was seen interested in it and took an indirect shot to the team of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.

These two had recently arrived on the main roster scene and started dominating with their heel antics.

As per Nikki, the Bella Twins are intending to join the Smackdown Live brand to start a feud with the Iconic Duo arrived from the NXT brand.

The bonafide heels took less time to hit back on the former duo that used to run the women’s division. Paige expressed her excitement to let it happen, at one point.

It will be interesting to see for the fans. Using the Bella Twins, the creative team can put over the newly arrived superstars on the scene. It would further help them to carry the brand forward.
