Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) head coach, Gary Kirsten, recently revealed he wasn’t surprised with MS Dhoni‘s rich form this season.
Not only has MS Dhoni struck the ball at blistering strike-rate; the talismanic Indian batsman is amongst the leading run-getters in the tournament with as many as 360 runs to his tally.
One of the memorable knocks played by MSD this season was against Kirsten’s RCB side, where he scored an explosive 34-ball 70, at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Also, he scored a quickfire 51 against the struggling Delhi Daredevils, turning back the clock to display vintage MSD outings.
The icing on the cake for Dhoni fans has been his trademark boundary finishes, taking the men in yellow to several victories.
“I am not surprised with the form of Dhoni as he can do amazing things on the field,” Gary Kirsten told reporters in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

“One of the things I have learnt all the way is not to predict a winner for a number of reasons,” the former world-cup winning Indian coach stated.
“Chennai is probably the form team at the moment. But funny things can happen in the knockout stage so can’t say who will go all the way,” concluded Gary Kirsten.
The next assignment for Chennai Super Kings is against Rajasthan Royals at their fortress in Jaipur on Friday.
