The hype ups for the Money in the Bank PPV event have started from last week’s WWE Raw. It will continue on the show to be hosted, tonight. With the prime champion being away from the scene, the mid-card title held by the Architect will save the day, as the company heads to overseas.
It is one of those occasions where the flagship show gets broadcasted from the European continent. We can expect the fans to be rowdy on WWE Raw. A new rivalry should start officially featuring the top babyface as the show will emanate from the O2 Arena in London, England.
The prime focus of the show will remain on the Money in the Bank qualifying matches. From the male roster, Braun Strowman and Finn Balor already headed to the ladder match. Tonight, there should be a couple of more matches added to the list.
As per the announcement from the WWE.com, four names will be able to compete at MITB from WWE Raw,
“The Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match will feature four Raw Superstars and four competitors from SmackDown LIVE, meaning there are two red brand positions available. Who will seize these opportunities?”
Just like the men’s division, there would four names who’d compete at MITB from the female roster. Ember Moon is the only one who had qualified. Tonight, we expect names like Alexa Bliss, Natalya and more to get the opportunity. Ronda Rousey is also expected to appear in the UK, for the very first time.
Also, it will be interesting to see what Sasha Banks and Bayley have to do to encounter the Riott Squad. The heel trio has cost Sasha, her MITB spot, last week. Bayley tried to make the save but got caught in the number games. She needs to be on the same page with The Boss.
Seth Rollins had issued an Intercontinental Championship challenge, last week. From the social media and WWE.com updates, it is clear he will reopen it, once more on WWE Raw. There’s no doubt that this man has been carrying the Monday Night shows on his shoulder. He will continue to do so to the delight of the fans. Kevin Owens had answered to the challenge, and it is likely that these two will square off in a match.
Meanwhile, a fresh rivalry would begin for Roman Reign on WWE Raw. Last week, his spot at the MITB match was spoiled with interference from Jinder Mahal.
In addition, we will see how the Big Dog wishes to repay that starting from tonight. It might be a long rivalry that will go on for the next several weeks.
