The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar had a bloody encounter inside the cell and legitimately the later one got busted his head in the Cell badly.
According to latest reports, Lesnar suffered the injury most likely after colliding face-first into the ring post. The wound needed nine stitches which would not be the case if were a ‘blade job’.
WWE too acknowledged the same and issued a statement to address the situation of the Beast’s injury. The statement is as follows:
“During his Hell in a Cell Match against The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar suffered a large gash on his head after being pushed face-first into the steel ring post. The gash required medical attention during the contest, and WWE.com has learned that The Beast Incarnate received as many as nine staples following the match.”
Vince Mcmohan was not annoyed with the bloodshed that occurred during the match, but the fact that Lesnar pushed the doctor when he tried to help him out was bothering him. Lesnar’s logic was it broke the momentum of the match and so he pushed him in the heat of the moment.
As per the future goes, Lesnar is likely to come back before Wrestlemania season. These plans may change during the absence of top stars like Cena or Orton. That’s why WWE has booked more date for Undertaker who is going to have a big match at Survivor Series which also marks the 25th anniversary of the Deadman. Below are some backstage photos of Lesnar while he is treated by the medical team.
