We have witnessed a huge IC championship match on this week’s WWE Raw.
Seth Rollins continued to make his title look prestigious. He is putting the title on the line almost on a weekly basis. This week was no different. No open challenge was available this time around. He chose a definite opponent before the match.
Jinder Mahal received the opportunity to compete in this bout. He assaulted both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns with a steel chair in hand last week. Rollins was in no mood to digest those shots and stay quite. He wanted to settle the difference inside the ring. The title match became official after this incident.
We expected to witness a solid first-time encounter between these two athletes. The match delivered to a big extent before coming to an abrupt end.
Seth Rollins brought a steel chair in the contest to ensure a disqualification to it. He sought redemption to the challenger for his heinous actions from last week.

The night ended for Seth Rollins on a bad note despite this. Elias came from nowhere to thrash his guitar on his back.
The champion took a nasty bump on the floor. The shot hurt Rollins so bad that the EMTs came out to help him to the back. It might have started a new feud on WWE Raw.

We need to go back to what happened earlier the night in Richmond. Elias was out for his concert inside the ring when Seth Rollins came out to a standing ovation from the crowd. The audience forced Elias to go away with ‘leave’ chants. It did not sit well with the heel superstar.
So he came out later the night to teach a lesson to the Kingslayer. It is almost certain that Seth Rollins will have a new target on his back from now onwards.
He has all the tools to ‘burn it down’ inside the ring. But we will have to wait to learn whether he can counter Elias’ heelish antics.
This fresh storyline angle between these two superstars would continue on WWE Raw. Elias is going to be the next challenger for the IC title. It is most likely that these two will meet in a match at the Money in the Bank PPV event. It’s good to see a young talent like Elias getting a shot to the IC title. He has all the capability to capture it too.
