In a beautiful gesture, Belgium star Eden Hazard said he is hopeful of seeing his former Chelsea teammate, Mohamed Salah in action at the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.
The Liverpool forward is in a race against time to be fit for the showpiece event. He is currently recovering from the shoulder injury he suffered during the Champions League final against Real Madrid last month.
Salah had hurt his shoulder in a clash with Sergio Ramos. Salah was grappling with Ramos, and he landed awkwardly. The forward got up and tried to play on but could not. It later got revealed he had a suspected dislocated shoulder.

Speaking after helping his team thrash Egypt 3-0, Hazard told On Sports:
“Salah is a friend, and I wish he will recover before the World Cup.”
Hazard was on target while Manchester United duo Romelu Lukaku and Marouane Fellaini also found the back of the net in the impressive win.

The Chelsea forward further praised Egypt, calling them a good team and backed them to do well in the World Cup.
“Egypt are a good team. They have many good players, and I think they will perform well in the World Cup. Egypt are a compact team, and they are very organised,” he said.
Meanwhile, Egypt coach Hector Cuper said Egypt would have to find a way in case Salah fails to recover in time.
“He’s important, but if he’s not fit in time we will be ready with another player,” he said. “This is football; these things can happen to any player. We could need to substitute him, but we hope that won’t be the case.”
