Goldberg was WCW’s main star back its heyday and the name almost became synonymous with dominance there as well as in the short span he spent here in WWE. He was able to outnumber both The Rock and the then “Next big thing” Brock Lesnar single-handedly.
Since his last match in WWE which took place in Wrestlemania 20, his return has been quite a topic for discussions. That last match was quite a major meltdown as both men’s presence was shattered by the presence of the special guest referee i.e. Stone Cold Steve Austin. And both Brock and Goldberg left the company after that. In a recent interview with Wrestlezone, Goldberg opened up about the possibilities of WWE return.

He said that he had always kept the door open for a final run in WWE considering that both the parties would have a sit down for a ‘respectful’ conversation and we never know what might happen after that. His further words made it clear that he want nothing else but respect. His official quotes are as follows:
” At the end of the day no bull***. Just get straight to the point. Let’s talk business. At the end of the day, I don’t know what a realistic conversation is with these guys or anybody in the wrestling world for that matter because I haven’t had one in such a long period of time.”
“The ultimate goal is to put smiles on people’s faces, entertain and make some money. That’s it. Nothing beyond that. I’m not asking for green M&M’s or somebody to show up in a G5 and give me steak and lobsters,“
Now considering the fact, that Brock Lesnar is almost unbeatable in WWE today and in a fantastic roll after defeating The Undertaker inside a Hell in a Cell someone like Goldberg is needed to make an impactful feud and thereby renewing an old feud which failed to live up to the hype then and making it successful now.
