It happened until the Royal Rumble PPV where Rollins defended the title single-handedly to come up short against The Bar. The title dropping confirmed that he had to be off from TV.
Reports suggested Jason Jordan had to undergo surgery to get over the neck issue. It happened at the beginning of this year which ensured he had room for return in time for Wrestlemania.
