WWE 2K19 will release during the fall of this year. The company does not provide with only wrestling contents anymore.
Instead, they are coming up with numerous exciting ideas in recent times to make some impact on mainstream entertainment. This game is a part of spreading WWE brand as a whole.
The 2K series of the WWE has now become an annual tradition. WWE and 2K come up with a newer version of this game where we can have a real-time experience to wrestle inside the ring. Roster members of present and past compete in this gaming world in different capacities and gimmick matches.
The environment of this gaming version is so lively that the fans can create some fantasy matches as well. The next edition of the game, i.e. WWE 2K19 will release in October 2018.
But the promotional activity will commence from this month onwards. WWE had recently announced we would know some of the details of the game on the June 18th episode of WWE Raw.
The earlier reports suggested the announcement is coming today at 11 am ET. It will also stream live on the WWE 2K channels on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. But Pro-wrestling Sheet has come up with exclusive spoilers on the upcoming series. It included the central characters of this edition as well, as the names that featured in the commercial.
The source revealed none other than AJ Styles would be the cover star of WWE 2K19 series. It’s an honour to any of the WWE stars to be on that place. The Phenomenal One has certainly earned this by being the franchise player of the Smackdown brand of the WWE.
Ronda Rousey will be the pre-order bonus character of 2K19. Last year Kurt Angle was the pre-order bonus name. Some additional names released in this game are as follows, (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)
“A commercial for the game was shot this week with Styles and Ronda Rousey, as well as Rey Mysterio, who reportedly plays a big part in the spot. Mysterio has been rumoured to be returning to WWE sooner than later, although he had been announced for All In this September. He most recently wrestled at NJPW Dominion last Saturday. Jeff Hardy is also reportedly in the commercial, as well as several other wrestlers.”
The return of Rey Mysterio in the WWE seems evident for sometimes. WWE 2K19 has brought back several superstars back into the promotion before this. So we expect Mysterio to be the next name on the list.
