WWE live events keep coming in on a constant basis. These are the untelevised part of WWE programming that continues for almost each of the days of the year except for the Raw and Smackdown schedule.
And the specialty of these shows is that fans get to see a lot of unscripted things.
Most of the times WWE bind their talents within the enticing scripts during TV tapings. This is to ensure that their on-screen character remains intact. But the live events are totally different.
Moreover, the head honchos do not attend most of these shows except for the producers.
Hence, the superstars got to experiment a lot inside the ring with their on-screen presence as well as in-ring techniques.
So, some of the fans love the concept WWE live events which promise to bring the best value-based entertainment for them in nutshell. Now, things were slightly different on this past weekend.
The live events took place as per their earlier schedule in Illinois. But the difference was that there were no women superstars on the show.
Some, of the fans, could not enjoy it to the fullest due to this fact. Plus, they have not experienced such thing in recent times.
@WWE no women’s match and no @BraunStrowman tonight people are pissed #WWEpeoria

So, in between the complaints started filing in for these live events. We now know the exact reason for it and we must thank the veteran journalist Dave Meltzer.
Meltzer revealed the reason in an edition of Wrestling Observer Radio. The MITB ladder match was the main reason behind this.
Literally the people I wanted to see most were @AlexaBliss_WWE and @BraunStrowman

It was the only second women’s ladder match in the history. And the women participants in this match had to spend a lot of times to practice for it.
They were working on the spots in Orlando, Florida that we saw in the bygone contest this past Sunday. This is why the match turned out to be a solid one in comparison to the first edition last year.
Hopefully #WWEChampaign will have at least a few women unlike #WWEPeoria. It’s really shady to advertise at least 2 of them “booked” and then while pushing women not to have a single match. #Hypocrites No Braun either. #FalseAdvertising #TheSuperstarShakeupSucks

The source also revealed Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax spent a lot of times too during the weekend. Their match was also a good one at MITB. As a result, none of those were able to attend the live events of WWE.
The outcome of this extra practice was visible to us. Women’s divisions over-delivered in each of their matches at the PPV show.
