WWE News: Jerry Lawler Slammed Haters for Criticizing WWE Products 1

Jerry Lawler is working on WWE’s behalf for over two decades. The flagship program of the company aired in 1993 in the form of WWE Raw. This man has been a part of almost all of the shows since then. He was either a performer or sitting at the commentary desk.

We have spotted a veteran commentary team while growing up watching Monday Night Raw. It was always Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross doing commentary for the fans for a better part of the programming.

The entire Attitude Era, Ruthless Aggression Era, PG Era and the Reality Era witnessed The King lending his voices for the fans.

He even became part of several storyline angles. The tradition continued until the New Era of WWE programming kicked off.

WWE wanted to replace him with a fresh name, Corey Graves. Being a part of the company programming for such a long time, Jerry Lawler does know the value of it.

There’s no other such entertainment program like WWE offers. No other programming has been going on for the last 25 years like Monday Night Raw. Smackdown is no less, as it’s going on for more than 17 years. These two are the first and second longest TV programs in the history, respectively.

Some of the fans still find WWE as a boring product. They can’t resist giving negative reviews on this whenever needed.

Jerry Lawler commented on this during his podcast named Dinner with The King. He stated not everyone, but a small portion of the fans do this. These were his comments, (courtesy secoops.com),p

“Everybody does not complain about the current product. It’s not the vast majority either. It’s a small number of people, a very select few that probably have nothing better to do than live their life on social media and that is really sad; but, those are the people that complain.”

The WWE Hall of Famer had bitter advice for those irrelevant critics as given below,

“If you’ve got nothing better to do in your life than spend time, sitting down and typing something out on your phone and getting on social media to complain about a wrestling show, man, you really do need to get a life.”

It is likely that WWE will not bring Jerry Lawler back in active commentary sessions, anymore. He is an aged person and should appear on an occasional basis in bigger events. He will also continue to be a part of the pre-show panels in the PPV shows.
