Smackdown Live locker room has a bunch of bright talents. Most of the fans of WWE Universe likes them a lot than the Raw roster. The reason is the effective utilization of the talents by the creative team on a weekly basis. They bring out the very best from these superstars providing freshness to the show.

Competition remains high all the time on the blue brand which is why the superstars have to bring in the A-game, constantly. Recent reports are suggesting that the officials are high on an emerging Smackdown star. He is on his way to go to the top of the food chain in the near future.

Andrade Cien Almas is the name in this context. PWInsider.com has come up with an update with this Smackdown star. He has just arrived on the main roster scene from the NXT division. The officials are heavily impressed with his in-ring skills. Hence, bigger things are waiting for him.

Check out the updates from stillrealtous.com,

“PWInsider is reporting that Andrade “Cien” Almas impressed WWE officials during his recent match with AJ Styles, and there was talk coming out of that show that Almas is in line for a big push.”

The match that the source has referred to is a singles contest between Almas and AJ. It took place on a recent edition of Smackdown Live that turned out to be a solid one. The WWE Champion emerged victorious by locking in the Calf Crusher. But Almas took him to the limit and was seconds away for the win.

Following this win, Almas featured in a match against Rusev. Outside ring shenanigans provided him the win this time around. This was his biggest victory ever since the debut on the main roster. It was the hint of an abrupt push which PWInsider confirmed. Thereafter, he continued the rift against The Bulgarian Brute.

Well, there was never any doubts about it. But he received a slow start after debuting on Smackdown following this year’s Wrestlemania. This raised some concerns for his status in the future. However, this recent report has wiped out those chances. We expect him to pick up the mid-card title, sooner before moving on to the main event scene.
